The Billings Flying Mustangs are bringing their Jet Rally and Fun Fly back to the Magic
C
ity this week.

said that their non-profit club has been around for more than 50 years and their goal with this annual event is to raise money and encourage more people to learn about and enjoy radio-controlled jet flying.
“We like to call it a Jet rally and fun fly. We want people flying turbines or the EDF, an electric jet, to come out,” added Kaiser.
Moreover, he said that he has been jet flying since 1975 and he first got involved because of his father.
“I got involved because my dad was flying when I was very young, and he started me off on a control line plane where you basically hold a handle and move around in a circle to follow the plane. This is our third year and we’ve kind of had good turnouts the first two years so we’re expecting another good turnout and hopefully the weather cooperates,” emphasized Kaiser.
The air show is free for spectators, and they are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There is a $30 entry fee for those interested in participating as pilots.
Magic City Jet Rally and Fun Fly is from May 23rd till May 26th at 8223 Grand Avenue. Registration opens on Friday, May 24th.
