Encouraging my fellow Christians in our community to vote in the June 4 primary election for Shannon Maness to be our next Montana House 70 Representative is a privilege. In today’s political climate where honesty and integrity seem scarce, finding a candidate who embodies these virtues is rare. Shannon is one such candidate, and I am eager for others to choose him as our representative.
I have known Shannon and his family for over a decade through our shared fellowship in a local church. Shannon has consistently upheld the Christian moral code that unites us all. As a faithful husband and father, he has dedicated his time and talents to our church and community. Shannon is a strong advocate for the sanctity of life, a value that guides his commitment to all life, regardless of circumstances or age.

Shannon has demonstrated a spirit of sacrifice and service in his public roles, serving on the local Republican Central Committee, as a member and youth hunt coordinator for the local Pheasants Forever chapter, and as a trustee for the Dillon Elementary School Board. As an outdoorsman and student of agriculture, Shannon promotes a biblical ethic of stewardship for public lands while protecting the rights of personal ownership, especially important for farmers and ranchers in southwest Montana.
Shannon is not only committed but also capable. He constantly educates himself on the issues affecting his constituents and makes an effort to listen and consider the thoughts and opinions of others. He is dedicated to leading on behalf of the people.
