Tanner Olson enjoyed ski trips to Mount Hood, visiting the Oregon coast, and Flathead Lake. He was a fan of Tech N9ne, Wiz Khalifa, and Cali P., as well as the song “Wavin’ Flag” by K’naan. Tanner’s favorite activity was riding bikes with his “Bike Posse” around Missoula, exploring various places like the streets, gravel pit up the Rattlesnake, off-limits skateparks, and even the big bowl at the Helena skatepark.
Tanner would have loved the jumps at the bike park built in his memory in the Rattlesnake neighborhood.

The Syringa Bike Skills Park in the upper Rattlesnake neighborhood will open soon, and includes bike trails, jumps, pump tracks, and other skill features for all ages and levels.
The TJO Flyzone, dedicated to Tanner Jay Olson, will open as soon as weather permits, potentially on May 23 or May 30. It features a new triple jump line, representing a 13-year effort by Tanner’s family to bring mountain bike facilities to Rattlesnake and Bellevue Park.
