HELENA — Some may find artificial intelligence daunting or challenging to grasp, but Helena native Eve Whitaker emphasizes that it should not be overlooked, especially in the business world.
“What I tell people is that the real threat is that your competitors will begin utilizing it and you will be left behind,” she explained.
Whitaker recently spoke at the business conference Beast Your Biz! in Missoula.
Her journey with artificial intelligence, or AI, began in 2021.
She shared, “I can input information into certain AI software programs and create images that people often question, asking, ‘Why is there a poodle in space?’ and I respond, ‘Because I adore poodles and space.’”
Whitaker is a co-owner of Vei Creative, a company that assists small businesses in developing marketing strategies using AI.
“It’s a win-win: you will save time, save money, and provide more value to your clients or customers by embracing it,” Whitaker added.
She mentioned that some conference attendees expressed concerns about maintaining authenticity when incorporating AI into marketing efforts.
Whitaker clarified, “I never solely rely on AI-generated content. I always add my personal touch to whatever the AI produces.”
Even if you are not a business owner, Whitaker encourages experimenting with AI programs to discover how they can benefit you.
