Kentucky’s D.J. Wagner Commits to Arkansas

Reports suggest that former five-star recruit D.J. Wagner has decided to join coach John Calipari at Arkansas after making his mark at Kentucky. According to ESPN, the 6-foot-4 guard from Camden, N.J., chose the Razorbacks over Southern California. Wagner, whose father is former NBA player Dajuan Wagner, had a successful freshman season at Kentucky, starting in 28 out of 29 games and averaging 9.9 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.9 rebounds. He was highly ranked, coming in at No. 6 nationally in the Class of 2023 by 247Sports and No. 4 by ESPN. Calipari made the move from Kentucky to Arkansas in April, and since then, former Kentucky players Adou Thiero and Zvonimir Ivisic have also transferred to Arkansas. Furthermore, recruits Boogie Fland, Billy Richmond, and Karter Knox have changed their commitments and joined the Razorbacks. –Field Level Media
