Reports suggest that former five-star recruit D.J. Wagner has decided to join coach John Calipari at Arkansas after making his mark at Kentucky. According to ESPN, the 6-foot-4 guard from Camden, N.J., chose the Razorbacks over Southern California. Wagner, whose father is former NBA player Dajuan Wagner, had a successful freshman season at Kentucky, starting in 28 out of 29 games and averaging 9.9 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.9 rebounds. He was highly ranked, coming in at No. 6 nationally in the Class of 2023 by 247Sports and No. 4 by ESPN. Calipari made the move from Kentucky to Arkansas in April, and since then, former Kentucky players Adou Thiero and Zvonimir Ivisic have also transferred to Arkansas.
