Butte’s Ridge Waters water park will be opening for another summer season on June 8 with some exciting new changes. These include a wider selection at the concession stand and faster entrances for those with punch cards.
The park, which cost $8.7 million and opened in 2018, has been a popular destination, although attendance was restricted during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The park will operate from noon to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily, from June 8th through the end of August. Additionally, lap swimming and walking against the current in the Lazy River will be available in the mornings, with a start date to be determined.
Butler stated, “We actually get way more river walkers. We might get two lap swimmers on a good day but we get can get 50 river walkers.”

This season, there are several new additions at Ridge Waters, including an expanded menu at the concession stand.
“We only pretty much had pizza and hot dogs and nachos, but we are adding pulled-pork sandwiches, hamburgers, walking tacos and a bag lunch for kids,” Butler said.
Admission prices will remain the same as last year, with discounts available for punch passes. Punch cards offer 10 admissions at a reduced rate.
Punch cards can be purchased at the clubhouse for Highland View Golf Course, next to Ridge Waters. Buyers of punch cards will also have the benefit of expedited entry.
