According to a report by ESPN on Wednesday, Kansas and its athletic director, Travis Goff, have reached a new seven-year contract agreement that extends through 2031. The report states that the deal includes a significant increase in pay. Since joining in 2021, Goff has made impactful decisions such as hiring Lance Leipold as the football coach and overseeing a $450 million project for the football facility and stadium. Under Leipold’s leadership, the Jayhawks achieved a 9-4 record in 2023 and secured a victory in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
