If you are curious about how to find happiness, consider your gifts and your purpose on Earth. Sharing your gifts with the world is a great way to create happiness. The happiest people on Earth are those who do what they love and share that love with others by simply being themselves.
Identifying and embracing your purpose can sometimes be confusing. Some fortunate individuals have always known what they were meant to do and push themselves forward by setting and achieving goals. However, I believe that we all have a reason for being here, even if it is not immediately clear. If you are uncertain about your purpose, discovering it can make the difference between a life of unhappiness and a life of joy.
Once you decide on a path and begin taking steps to make things happen, it will significantly impact your self-worth. Some people fear setting ambitious goals because they are afraid of failure, but the only real failure is not trying. If you do not reach your goal, you will learn what you need to do differently next time. It is a process, and as the saying goes, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” If you feel disappointed about giving up on something, remember that changing directions is not the same as quitting. Learn from your mistakes and try again to find your path to happiness.

If you are unsure of your purpose or your gifts, take a moment to reflect on your life. Think about the times when you felt happiest, whether it was when helping others, raising your family, or creating something special. It may be challenging to acknowledge your accomplishments or give yourself credit, so you can also consider moments when others have recognized your efforts. This may guide you in a new direction.
Some people give up when they do not achieve what they desire from life, leading to a sad existence. Despite challenges faced by good people, what you might need is a change in direction rather than giving up. Feeling discontent because you do not have a reality TV show is not productive. While most of us will not become stars, we can still shine brightly. The key is to set realistic expectations for yourself and embrace what the world has to offer.
Instead of complaining about what you lack in life, focus on your positive qualities and let those around you know that you are willing to share your gifts. This will help you make new connections and increase your happiness.
