The anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been delayed due to Tyson’s recent issue with an ulcer flare-up.
During a flight from Miami to Los Angeles over the weekend, Tyson had a medical emergency that left him feeling nauseous and dizzy. By Tuesday, he was recovering and in stable condition, reassuring fans on social media that he was now feeling 100%, even though he believed he didn’t need to be in top condition to defeat Jake Paul.

The 57-year-old boxing legend was set to face the 27-year-old Jake Paul on July 20 in a live-streamed event at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium. However, Tyson’s health setback has caused a delay in their plans.
Netflix announced the postponement of the match, citing Tyson’s health issue as the reason for needing more time to train properly. A new date for the heavyweight event will be disclosed by June 7, according to the event’s host and co-producer, Most Valuable Promotions.
Unfortunately Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not face-off on July 20 as planned. Tyson’s recent ulcer flare up has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks.

“My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon,” Tyson assured Netflix. Paul expressed his support for the postponement, acknowledging that he wanted to face Tyson at his best in the ring.
Those who bought tickets for the original match can use them for the rescheduled date, while refunds are available for those unable to attend on the new schedule. To request a refund, Netflix instructed fans to contact SeatGeek at dallascowboys@seatgeek.com with the subject line “Paul vs. Tyson.”
Known as the Baddest Man on the Planet, Tyson boasts an impressive boxing record with 50 wins, including 44 knockouts, and six losses. Paul, a social media influencer turned boxer, has had a shorter career but has made a name for himself with nine wins, six by knockout, and one loss.
