The fundraising platform utilized by former President Donald Trump’s campaign experienced technical difficulties and crashed shortly after his conviction on guilty verdict. His campaign team views this as a reflection of unwavering support from voters towards the Republican presidential front-runner.
Individuals attempting to donate to Trump’s campaign post-conviction were redirected to WinRed, the payment processor used by Trump and other conservative campaigns. While the homepage seemed operational, donors encountered an error message when attempting to donate to Trump’s campaign.
In response to the issue, the Trump campaign stated, “So many Americans were moved to donate to President Trump’s campaign that the WinRed pages went down. We are working on getting the website back online as quickly as possible.”
Chris LaCivita, Trump’s campaign adviser, advised donors facing the error message to join the former president’s text messaging list while the problem was being resolved.
If you are one of the millions of American Patriots wanting to donate to Donald Trump’s campaign and you get an error message from @WINRED…don’t give up! Log back on and try again! or Text TRUMP to 88022 Help us send weak @JoeBiden packing!!!

Later in the evening on Thursday, WinRed’s Trump site seemed to be functioning once again.
The webpage showcased Trump’s mugshot from the day he surrendered in his Georgia criminal case, accompanied by the words “never surrender.” Trump referred to himself as a “political prisoner” and called for massive pushback from supporters to make a historical impact.
The website urged for support, requesting “TEN MILLION pro-Trump patriots” to donate by the end-of-month fundraising deadline.
Although Trump aimed to gather donations post-conviction, he wasn’t the only one seeking financial support. President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, also called for donations to keep Trump out of office, emphasizing the importance of voting.
