The highly anticipated boxing bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been delayed due to Tyson’s recent ulcer complication.
During a flight from Miami to Los Angeles over the weekend, Tyson experienced a medical emergency that left him feeling unwell. However, he reassured fans on social media that he was now in good health and prepared to face Jake Paul saying, “Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”

The clash between the 57-year-old boxing icon and the 27-year-old social media influencer turned boxer was set to take place on July 20 at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium for a live-streamed Netflix event. Unfortunately, Tyson’s health setback has disrupted their plans.
Netflix confirmed the match postponement citing Tyson’s limited training capacity due to his health issue. The event organizers, Most Valuable Promotions, announced that the new date for the heavyweight clash will be revealed by June 7.
Unfortunately Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not face-off on July 20 as planned. Tyson’s recent ulcer flare up has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks.

Tyson assured Netflix that he would return to full training mode soon, challenging Jake Paul to prepare for a tough showdown. Paul also expressed his support for postponing the event, emphasizing his readiness to claim victory over Tyson when they finally meet in the ring.
Ticket holders for the original fight will be accommodated for the rescheduled date, while those unable to attend can request refunds through SeatGeek by emailing dallascowboys@seatgeek.com with the subject line “Paul vs. Tyson.”
Known as the Baddest Man on the Planet, Tyson boasts an illustrious boxing career with 50 wins, including 44 knockouts, and is considered one of the hardest-hitting heavyweights by ESPN. In contrast, Paul, who established Most Valuable Promotions in 2021, has swiftly risen through the boxing ranks with nine wins and six knockouts in his record.
