Palestinian health officials reported that Israeli airstrikes in central Gaza claimed 11 lives overnight into Monday, including a woman and three children. The Israeli military also disclosed finding the body of a man, presumed to be held hostage, in a community near the Gaza border that was attacked by Hamas militants on Oct. 7.
