Kylian Mbappé is officially a Real Madrid player.
Madrid announced on Monday that they have reached an agreement with the French star for the next five seasons, uniting one of soccer’s top talents with its most successful club.
The long-anticipated move comes after years of Madrid showing interest in Mbappé, who is considered one of the best in the game after Lionel Messi.
“A dream come true,” Mbappé expressed his excitement, saying, “So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams. Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas (Madrid fans), and thanks for your unbelievable support. ¡Hala Madrid!”

The post, written in English, Spanish, and French, included photos of a young Mbappé in a Madrid jacket visiting the club, one of them with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Madrid did not disclose financial details of the deal or the official player introduction date, as Mbappé is currently with France for the European Championship.
The 25-year-old World Cup winner now joins a talented Madrid team fresh off their sixth European triumph in 10 seasons.
Mbappé’s arrival adds to an already star-studded lineup that includes Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham.
His signing is reminiscent of Madrid’s “galactico” era, featuring top players like Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham, and Figo.

Until now, Mbappé has played only for French clubs Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, departing as a free agent after declining to renew his contract.
Madrid’s pursuit of Mbappé dates back to 2021 when PSG rejected their 180 million euro bid.
Madrid’s president made signing Mbappé a priority, following his earlier decision to join Monaco over Madrid at age 14.
With key players like Camavinga, Tchouaméni, and Mendy, Mbappé’s Spanish fluency will aid in his team integration.
Mbappé’s accolades include a World Cup win, league titles, and records for scoring in important matches.
His move to Madrid as a free agent marks a significant moment for both the club and the player.
Mbappé’s journey from Monaco’s youth academy to leading France’s national team has been closely watched by fans and analysts alike.
