The NFL unveiled its 2024 preseason schedule on Friday, announcing the five nationally televised games.
Each of the NFL’s major media partners will have a chance to showcase their crews in preparation for the season. ESPN/ABC will kick off the coverage with the Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
This game will feature the Houston Texans facing the Chicago Bears. Players like Andre Johnson representing the Texans and former Bears legends like Devin Hester, Steve McMichael, and Julius Peppers will be enshrined in Canton in August.
FOX will broadcast the New Orleans Saints vs. NFC champion San Francisco 49ers game on Aug. 18 at 8 p.m. ET in Week 2.
Amazon Prime will return to its Thursday night slot in Week 3 as the Indianapolis Colts take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
The nationally televised preseason schedule will wrap up with two games on Aug. 25: the Arizona Cardinals at Denver Broncos (4:30 p.m. ET, CBS) and New England Patriots at Washington Commanders (8 p.m. ET, NBC).
The regular season will kick off on Sept. 5 with the Baltimore Ravens playing against the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
