While the Season 11 finale airs on June 23, the storyline for Season 12 remains a mystery. However, the cast has shared some insights into what the future holds.
Wagner recently discussed with TV Insider on an episode of our When Calls the Heart aftershow, Heart Beats, his hopes for Season 12. He expressed his desire for Bill to find romance once again. “There needs to be some new threat to Hope Valley. It always brings the community together,” he added.
Leacock hinted at the potential introduction of more family members of Joseph in Season 12 after the arrival of his brother in Season 11. “There could be more family members in the mix,” he teased.
Could we see a return of Lori Loughlin as Abigail Stanton in the future? Co-creator Brian Bird of When Calls the Heart hasn’t ruled it out. “There are positive discussions happening, but we can’t make any guarantees. The topic is being explored,” he mentioned on the Heart to Hearties podcast in 2023.
However, following Bird’s statement, Hallmark clarified to People that “Hallmark Media is not in talks with Lori Loughlin about reprising her role as Abigail on When Calls the Heart.”
