Alvin Kamara, running back for the New Orleans Saints, left Thursday’s mandatory minicamp before the final practice session due to contract-related reasons, according to his agent speaking to NFL Network. Kamara took part in the morning walkthrough before departing the facility. He still has two years left on his current five-year contract, but there are doubts about the final year in 2025. His salary is set to increase from $10.2 million in 2024 to $22.4 million in 2025. Kamara, who will be 29 next month, had 694 rushing yards, five touchdowns, 75 receptions for 466 yards, and one touchdown in 13 games last season. He missed the first three games due to a suspension from an incident in Las Vegas. With five Pro Bowl selections, Kamara has accumulated 5,829 rushing yards, 54 touchdowns, 505 receptions, 4,219 receiving yards, and 23 receiving touchdowns in 101 career games with the Saints. –Field Level Media
