According to a report from NFL Network on Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers are letting go of wide receiver Denzel Mims. Mims joined the Steelers on Oct. 3 and was placed on their practice squad. He stayed on the squad for the rest of the season and signed a reserve/futures deal on Jan. 17. In his career, Mims, 26, has recorded 42 receptions for 676 yards in 30 games, including 15 starts, with the New York Jets. He was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but was traded to the Lions last July before being waived a month later. –Field Level Media
