Organizers of the Montana Folk Festival, scheduled for July 12-14 in Butte, are looking for more volunteers. They are also updating their database for returning volunteers.
The main areas where help is needed include setting up and tearing down, assisting the stage crew, setting up and dismantling stages, backstage hospitality, information booths, beverage ticket sales, and serving beverages.
“Shifts are four hours long, but many volunteers often choose to stay longer if they’re having a good time,” said Festival Coordinator George Everett. “Volunteers who sign up for shifts will receive a free T-shirt and have the opportunity to experience the festival from a unique perspective — from the inside.”
