BILLINGS, Mont. – Billings Police Department (BPD) have stated that they are encountering difficulties in their investigation of the machete fight incident that took place earlier on Wednesday.Â
According to BPD, witnesses from the scene are not cooperating, and the victim is unable to provide information about the suspect.Â

BILLINGS, Mont. – Billings Police Department (BPD) reports that on Wednesday, officers were called to respond to a fight where an individual had been attacked with a machete.
At approximately 1:46 pm on Wednesday, June 19, officers were called to North Park where a man had been injured in a fight.
BPD reports that the man had been struck with a machete in the head and face. They report that the victim has since been transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
BPD states that the suspect fled the scene before BPD officers arrived. The suspect has not yet been found.
