Opening
âBlade Runnerâ (1982)
Before you ask, weâre showing the final cut version of this film. Travel back to the futuristic year of 2019, where a crew of renegade androids spend their time dreaming of both electric sheep and also being able to live full, complete lives. Unfortunately, Harrison Ford is on his way to retire them by any means necessary. Rated R. Also stars Sean Young, improv master Rutger Hauer and Edward James Olmos. Opening Friday, June 21.
âGhostlightâ
Not a horror film, but rather a touching drama about a depressed construction worker who finds new meaning in his life by joining a community theater production of âRomeo and Juliet.â It just goes to show that youâre never too old to become a drama geek. Rated R. Stars Keith Kupferer, Katherine Mallen Kupferer and Dolly de Leon. Opening Friday, June 21.

âThelmaâ
Those scammers messed with the wrong old lady. After being swindled out of $10,000 by an online scammer, this 93-year-old grandma sets out to get revenge, much to the horror of her family. Rated PG-13. Stars June Squibb (who definitely has the name of an action star), Richard âShaftâ Roundtree in his final film role and Parker Posey. This would make a great double feature with âThe Beekeeper.â Opening Friday, June 21.
âThe Bikeridersâ
I mean, who here hasnât fallen deeply in love with a member of a motorcycle âclubâ only to find out your beauâs âclubâ isnât made up of the upstanding citizens youâd expect them to be? Danny Lyonâs 1967 photobook gets the big screen treatment in this story of rebels, their motorcycles and the women who love them. Rated R. Stars Austin Butler, Jodie Comer and Michael Shannon (obviously, because this is a Jeff Nichols picture). Opening Friday, June 21.

âGhost: Rite Here Rite Nowâ
The Swedish heavy metal band whose members dress like spooky skeleton popes make their jump to the big screen in this concert film sure to delight their fans and also upset my grandmother. Rated R. Directed by Alex Ross Perry and Tobias Forge. Playing Thursday, June 20, and Saturday, June 22.
âCrankâ double feature
Jason Statham might be dying, but heâs still tearing up the big screen at this monthâs Inferno of Danger double feature! First, in âCrank,â he plays Chev Chelios, a hitman who is poisoned by a drug that will kill him dead if his adrenaline stops flowing. Then, in âCrank 2: High Voltage,â Chev Chelios has his heart replaced by a slowly dying artificial pump, and the only way to stay alive is to constantly electrocute himself. Now thatâs what I call cinema. Rated R. Also stars Dwight Yoakam and Amy Smart. Playing Friday, June 21.
