The Butte Miners secured two road wins against the Gallatin Valley Outlaws on Thursday, completing a season sweep (4-0) of the Outlaws.
In the first game, Butte won 6-3 with Ethan Cunningham pitching 10 strikeouts and allowing five hits in 6.2 innings. Lucas Harris-Huerta closed out the game.
Cunningham also contributed offensively with two RBIs and a four-hit game. Anthony Knott added two RBIs for Butte.
The Miners made a late surge in the second game, winning 10-2 with five runs in the sixth inning and three in the seventh.
Derek Dunmire got the win, pitching five innings and allowing two runs on five hits. Gavin Trudgeon secured the save with two innings pitched.

Quinn Cox led offensively with three hits and three RBIs. Cunningham, Matthew Donaldson, and Zack O’Connell each drove in two runs.
The Miners now stand at 14-2 overall and 8-0 in the South A division after the sweep. They are set to play the Dillon Cubs (8-11, 1-3 South A) in two road games on Sunday.
