Swifties may now have some royal competition as Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday by taking Prince George and Princess Charlotte to see Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” show in London. William posted a selfie of them on social media, thanking Swift for the great evening.

Swift also shared a selfie from the meet-and-greet, accompanied by boyfriend and NFL star Travis Kelce, wishing Prince William a happy birthday and noting that the London shows are off to a splendid start.

The Friday night show was the first of three that Swift is performing at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of the European leg of her “Eras Tour.” In a video posted on social media, Prince William could be seen dancing and singing along to Swift’s “Shake It Off,” with one user expressing their excitement for him to be the next King of England.
Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife, did not attend as she likely stayed home with Prince Louis, 6, following her recent cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
Last week marked Princess Kate’s first public appearance in months, joining other royal family members at Buckingham Palace for King Charles III’s birthday celebration.
