Hooters is closing “underperforming” locations in multiple states due to market conditions.
The company did not release a specific list of locations, but closures have been reported in Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia.
In a statement, Hooters said, “Like many restaurants, we are closing underperforming stores to prioritize staff well-being.”
Despite closures, Hooters is opening new locations and expanding its frozen food products.
