Not only are Swifties and Chiefs fans accustomed to winning Super Bowls and filling stadiums, but now they have a new reason to celebrate as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s blossoming romance is set to inspire an upcoming Hallmark Christmas movie.
Hallmark Media has announced a collaboration with the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs and Skydance Sports to produce an original film titled “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.”

The movie will revolve around the fictional character Alana Higman and her Chiefs-obsessed family as they compete to win the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest. A romance unfolds between Alana and the Chiefs employee responsible for evaluating the finalists’ families.
As their bond deepens, a spark of romance ignites. However, when Alana’s grandfather’s cherished Chiefs heirloom goes missing, she begins to question her destiny with Derrick — “unless, of course, a dash of Christmas magic can save the day,” Hallmark teased.
Filming is set to commence next month, with the entire movie shot in Kansas City, Missouri — the home of both Hallmark and the Chiefs. Scenes will include the renowned GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, known as the loudest stadium in the world.

“The collaboration between Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs, two organizations deeply rooted in values, traditions, and community, is truly special,” stated Hallmark Chief Brand Officer Darren Abbott. “By blending Hallmark’s heartwarming storytelling with the thrill of professional football, we aim to showcase Kansas City’s spirit, traditions, and devoted fans in a heartwarming and uplifting Hallmark fashion.”
The film is expected to premiere during the winter holiday season as part of Hallmark’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” event. Chiefs President Mark Donovan expressed his excitement about partnering with a beloved Kansas City institution like Hallmark and reaching new audiences through this collaboration.
“This partnership brings together two passionate fan bases and allows us to showcase the energy and tradition of Chiefs Kingdom on one of the most-watched channels during the holiday season,” Donovan remarked.
