BOZEMAN — When Chuck Karnop arrived at Montana State College’s campus in 1958, he hadn’t even signed up as a student. His decision to come to Bozeman was made just two days before the fall semester, based on the suggestion of his friend Jess Langston.
Karnop participated in orientation and familiarized himself with the new environment.
