Suspicious vehicle
Police were called Thursday to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked on Trinity Loop. When officers approached the car, Michaela C. Kerner, 30, of Butte got out and an officer reportedly could see pills on the floorboard, along with drug paraphernalia.
Kerner was taken into custody for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Residences searched
Adult Probation & Parole searched the residence of Cody R. Yankey, 41, of Butte on Wednesday in the 500 block of South Idaho Street and located a firearm. He was taken into custody for probation violation.
Also on Wednesday, Adult Probation & Parole searched the residence of Daniel L. Hammond, 43, of Butte in the 200 block of South Washington Street and found suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe. He was taken into custody for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia

No talking
Kyla L. Williams, 32, of Butte was arrested Wednesday for obstructing a peace officer.
According to the police report, an officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 3900 block of Hillside Driver and when he approached the parked vehicle with Williams inside, she refused to acknowledge the officer and ignored requests for identification.
Woman pushed, choked
A woman reported Thursday that Charles A. Britton, 38, of Butte walked into her home uninvited in the 200 block of Neversweat Street and proceeded to push her around and choke her. He also allegedly took her cell phone.
Britton was arrested for strangulation of partner or family member, tampering with a communication device, and burglary.
Two in custody
Two people who had been at a residence in the 200 block of Curtis Street were taken into custody Thursday.
June M. Osier, 46, of Butte already had a warrant for her arrest and criminal trespass to property was added to her offenses.
Randy J. Fugle, 44, of Billings had already left the residence through the back door when the police arrived. He, too, had a warrant out for his arrest. An officer saw him walking across Park Street, and Fugle reportedly took off running and ran into a Park Street business, holding the door shut. He was eventually apprehended and was also jailed for obstructing a peace officer.
Arrest warrants
—Russell J. Smith, 49, of St. Ignatius was taken into custody Monday on a $25,000 warrant and an additional no-bond warrant.
—Bobby R. Jones, 40, of Anaconda was arrested on a felony warrant out of Broadwater County on Tuesday.
—Maddox A. Haskell, 19, of Butte was picked up Wednesday in the 800 block of South Montana Street on a probation violation warrant.
—Richard D. Charlesworth Jr., 54, of Butte was taken into custody on Thursday by Adult Probation & Parole on a $100,000 warrant.
—Jessica L. Ingwerson, 23, of Helena was arrested on a felony warrant just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday on East Park Street.
No bother
On Tuesday, it was reported to police that a man was bothering people at Walmart. He told the police he wasn’t bothering anybody and left the area.
Windows broken
It was discovered on Tuesday two windows were broken out of a home being renovated in the 2300 block of Gladstone Avenue.
Clothes stolen
The owner of a pickup parked in the 1900 block of Elizabeth Warren Avenue reported two chainsaws and a bag of clothes had been stolen from the truck.
