Actor Jamie Foxx has shared more details about the mysterious medical emergency that landed him in the hospital for several weeks last year.
In a video circulating on social media, Foxx, 56, can be seen talking to fans about the health scare, revealing that it all started with a severe headache.
“I had a bad headache, asked my friend for Advil, and then I was unconscious for 20 days,” Foxx explained. “I have no memory of what happened during that time.”
He also mentioned receiving a cortisone shot and how a doctor indicated there was an issue in his head, though he couldn’t provide more details on camera.
The Oscar-winning actor, singer, and comedian was hospitalized in April 2023 due to a “medical complication,” as described by his daughter Corinne, sparking public speculation about the cause of his health crisis.
After dispelling rumors in an emotional Instagram video, Foxx reassured fans that he was not blind or paralyzed but had indeed faced a challenging road to recovery. He expressed gratitude for the support he received during that difficult time.
