MONTANA – The Fourth of July is this Thursday and it looks to be a pleasant one with mild to warm temperatures.
There will be a slight chance of a few showers and thunderstorms, with the best chances from Great Falls to the Glasgow area. Highs in the 70s to lower 80s.
It has been a cool and breezy day in the west with temperatures in the 60s with 70s central and lower 80s northeast. Scattered showers and isolated thundershowers are dancing across Montana.
Winds range from 10 to 20 mph with gusts into the 30s mph. An unsettled weather pattern is expected through July 4th on Thursday. A few showers from time to time with mild temperatures. It will also be breezy through the week.
A warming trend begins Friday and will last through next week. In fact, an impending heat wave is expected beyond the seven-day forecast with highs possibly warming into the 90s and 100s.
Lows tonight in the mid 40s to mid 50s. Highs tomorrow in the 70s. Highs in the 70s and 80s late week and this weekend.
