Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were both selected for the WNBA All-Star Team on Tuesday.
This year’s WNBA All-Star Game will showcase a matchup between Team USA and Team WNBA. Most of the Team WNBA roster, including Clark and Reese, were eligible for Team USA, as they are both rookies in the WNBA.
The 2024 All-Star Game will feature Team USA facing off against the other top players in the league for the second time. In 2021, Team WNBA emerged victorious with a score of 93-85 against Team USA.

This year’s WNBA All-Star selections were determined through a combination of fan, player, media, and coach voting. Clark received the most fan votes with 700,735, followed by her Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston with 618,680 votes. A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, who were already on Team USA, ranked third and fourth, respectively, in fan voting. Reese finished fifth.
Diana Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury will be playing in her 11th WNBA All-Star Game representing Team USA, along with her teammate Brittney Griner, who will be playing in her 10th All-Star Game. Nneka Ogwumike, not part of Team USA’s roster, will be making her ninth All-Star appearance.
