Western Montana will see temperatures into the 80s today, where the rest of the state is slightly cooler.
Most showers should be over by the end of the day on Thursday, but there could be a few remaining scattered showers into the weekend.
Excessive heat watches start after today, going into next week Monday through Wednesday, especially in northwestern Montana.
