A shooting at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming overnight resulted in an injury to a law enforcement officer, according to officials. Rangers had been called to the Canyon Village area in response to a report of a person with a firearm making threats.
During the confrontation with the individual, gunfire was exchanged, resulting in the death of the suspect and the injury of one ranger who was taken to a nearby hospital. The Canyon Lodge complex area remains closed for investigation.
