The Missoula PaddleHeads’ offense showcased its best performance on Wednesday night, scoring a season-high 25 runs in a 25-10 victory against the Idaho Falls Chukars.
The professional baseball team from Zootown accumulated 27 hits and scored multiple runs in six innings, including eight in the ninth. Nine players had multiple hits, with rookie outfielder Adam Fogel leading the way with two doubles, one single, and three RBIs.
Missoula’s record of 34-10 is the best in the Pioneer League. The PaddleHeads clinched a first-half pennant last weekend and currently hold a seven-game lead in the 12-team league.
The PaddleHeads will conclude their three-game series in Idaho Falls on Thursday night before starting a three-game home series against the Ogden Raptors on Friday night. The first half of the season will end on Sunday.
