Just as the summer sun starts to slip down behind the Montana skyline, the musicians on stage instinctively raise their instruments.
Draped across the hillside in front of them is a colorful patchwork quilt of blankets – each one stitched to the blanket next to it with threads of green grass.
As the musical notes roll up and over the crowd, the hushed tones of thousands whisper in unison, “You’re simply the best … better than all the rest.”
On July 20, celebrate 20 years of the best in symphonic music, sunsets, and socializing at the 20th Annual Intrepid Credit Union Symphony Under the Stars concert. This year’s concert, which begins at 8:30 p.m. at the base of Guadalupe Hill on the Carroll College campus, pays tribute to the life and musical legacy of the queen of rock n’ roll – Tina Turner.
