Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in “Why Don’t You Love Me?”
The 33-year-old actress has agreed to produce and act in the film adaptation of Paul B. Rainey’s 2023 sci-fi comedy graphic novel.
The storyline follows a couple who are struggling in their marriage and professional lives until they realize that there may be alternate realities.
The script for the film will be written by Robert Funke, creator of the series “On Becoming a God in Central Florida.”
Lawrence will produce the film alongside Justine Ciarrocchi for her Excellent Cadaver company, with Ari Aster, director of “Midsommar,” also on board as a producer.
In addition to this project, the “Hunger Games” star will also act in and produce the murder-mystery film “The Wives,” recently acquired by Apple Original Films in a competitive deal.
