Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in a film titled “Why Don’t You Love Me?”
The 33-year-old actress has agreed to both produce and act in the movie adaptation of Paul B. Rainey’s sci-fi comedy graphic novel planned for release in 2023.
The plot revolves around a couple facing challenges in their personal and professional lives, only to realize that their reality is not as it seems, hinting at potential alternatives.
The script for the film will be penned by Robert Funke, known for creating the series “On Becoming a God in Central Florida.”
Lawrence will produce the movie through her production company, Excellent Cadaver, alongside Justine Ciarrocchi, with filmmaker Ari Aster, known for “Midsommar,” also on board as a producer.
Additionally, the “Hunger Games” star is involved in both acting and producing the murder-mystery film “The Wives,” recently acquired by Apple Original Films following a competitive bidding process.
