Pop megastar Taylor Swift is set to make her return to the U.S. for additional dates on her “Eras Tour” following a successful run in Europe to delight her fans, known as “Swifties,” in the country. Southwest, a budget airline, is stepping up to assist fans in the United States reach the tour dates by adding more flights to aid in their travel preparations.
The airline has introduced at least 10 new flights headed to cities hosting Taylor Swift tour dates across the country. These flights are now open for booking.
Among the newly added routes, fans can board Southwest’s flight 22, a homage to one of the singer’s popular songs of the same name. Another flight to look out for is flight 1989, paying tribute to Taylor Swift’s birth year and one of her albums.

Southwest has announced the following upcoming flight dates:
- Oct. 17: Flight 22 from Baltimore/Washington to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood; Flight 1989 from Nashville to Miami
- Oct. 20: Flight 1313 from Miami to Nashville; Flight 1213 from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood to Baltimore/Washington
- Oct. 24: Flights to New Orleans from Austin and Baltimore/Washington
- Oct. 25: Flights from Dallas and San Antonio to New Orleans
- Oct. 27: Additional flights to return fans home, including one extra flight to each of those cities
Southwest also reminds passengers and fans that “just like your first two checked bags, bracelets fly free!”
