According to a report from the Los Angeles Daily News on Sunday, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence late Friday night in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old Addison, who finished his college career at Southern California in 2022, was discovered asleep in his vehicle, obstructing the main freeway offramp to Los Angeles International Airport around 11 p.m. Following a DUI investigation, California Highway Patrol officers arrested Addison half an hour later. He was released from custody around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Vikings issued a statement saying, “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.” Addison, the 23rd overall pick in 2023, had an impressive rookie season with 70 receptions, 911 yards, and 10 touchdowns, earning a spot on the NFL All-Rookie team. Before his rookie season, Addison was cited for speeding and reckless driving in Minnesota after being caught driving at 140 mph. Just eight days ago, Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson, a fourth-round pick, was among three individuals who tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Maryland at the age of 24. –Field Level Media
