The Horse Gulch fire neared full containment Monday morning with acreage still at 15,167 and containment at 92% as crews finished suppression repair on private land.
The human-caused fire started July 9 about 5 miles south of York and caused multiple evacuation orders and warnings since its start.
Since then, the evacuation orders and warnings have all been lifted, officials said.
The cost to fight the fire so far was listed Monday as $13,429,250. Northern Rockies Team 2, Complex Incident Management Team led by Incident Cmdr. Scott Schuster assumed command of the fire July 13.
On Sunday, crews patrolled the area west along Jimtown Road searching for areas of heat, so no flare ups could threaten control lines.
Fire crews mopped up areas of heat in Hellgate Gulch and continued with suppression repair along the Canyon Ferry Corridor and Hellgate Gulch.
