Acuff has officially committed to play for John Calipari at Arkansas. Calipari recently made the move from Kentucky to Arkansas and secured his first recruit for the 2025 class with a new five-year contract. Acuff, a Detroit native standing at 6-3 and 180 pounds, made his decision public on YouTube, choosing Arkansas over Kansas and Michigan. He is also a composite five-star recruit, solidifying his status as a top prospect. Acuff had previously considered other schools like UConn, Kansas, and Michigan but ultimately decided on Arkansas. In his announcement, Acuff mentioned his positive relationship with Coach Calipari and his belief in Calipari’s ability to develop guards for the NBA.
