The Black Mountain fire, reported Monday about 6 miles northwest of Lincoln, had burned about 50 acres as of about 5 p.m. and sparked evacuations.
The fire was reported at 2:56 p.m., according to mtfireinfo.org.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton issued an updated evacuation order about 6:45 p.m. for the following areas in Lincoln: north of Lone Point and Tamarack; north of North Lincoln Gulch/Morris Drive; north of the intersection of Beavercreek Road and Stonewall Creek and all feeder roads north of that intersection.
