Missoula PaddleHeads made an impressive comeback after trailing the Great Falls Voyagers 5-0 early in the game, securing a thrilling 12-11 road victory on Tuesday night.
The pro baseball team from Zootown extended their Pioneer League-best record to 46-15 and put an end to a two-game losing streak. On the other hand, Great Falls, with a record of 21-40, has the worst standing in the league.
Even though the Voyagers held a 7-2 lead going into the fourth inning, the PaddleHeads turned the game around. Missoula scored two runs each in the fourth and fifth innings, and then took the lead with a seven-run surge in the seventh.
The pivotal seventh inning saw Kamron Willman hit an RBI double and Mike Rosario deliver an RBI single, propelling Missoula ahead. Great Falls managed to tie the score at 10-10 in the bottom half, but the PaddleHeads responded with a two-run inning in the eighth, including a home run by Alec Sanchez and an RBI single by Carlos Perez.

Reliever Ethan Swanson secured the win for Missoula by pitching 1 2/3 innings and earning a save. Mark Timmins (4-1) got the win after his performance in the seventh inning. A total of six PaddleHeads pitchers were used in the game.
Missoula finished with 14 hits compared to the hosts’ 10. Chung, Rosario, Perez, and Collin Runge each contributed three hits for Missoula. Rosario also claimed the league lead with his impressive .424 batting average.
The PaddleHeads will face off against Great Falls again on Wednesday and Thursday before returning home for a three-game series against the Voyagers starting Friday night.
