Reports indicate that Los Angeles Rams’ starting left guard Jonah Jackson suffered a shoulder bruise during practice, which is expected to keep him out for approximately six weeks. The 27-year-old injured his scapula on Tuesday and was spotted wearing a sling on his left arm during Wednesday’s practice session. The team has stated that he is currently listed as day-to-day with a shoulder injury. Jackson signed a lucrative three-year, $51 million contract with the Rams in March, with $34 million guaranteed, after playing out his rookie contract with the Detroit Lions. Drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft from Ohio State, Jackson has started all 57 games he has played in from 2020-23, with a 100% offensive snap rate from 2021-23 after starting at 96% as a rookie. Joe Noteboom and Zachary Thomas filled in for Jackson during first-team reps at practice. The Rams are scheduled to kick off their season against Detroit on Sept. 8. –Field Level Media
