A date for Hunter Biden’s sentencing has been scheduled after he was found guilty of three felony counts for falsely reporting his drug use on forms required to purchase a firearm.
Judge Maryellen Noreika has set the sentencing for Nov. 13 at the federal courthouse in Wilmington, Delaware.
Biden’s guilty verdict came after a trial that lasted less than a week in June.
This outcome followed years of investigations, with prosecutors citing Biden’s own book, “Beautiful Things: A Memoir,” where he confessed to drug use around the time of the gun purchase.

Prosecutors maintained that Biden intentionally lied on federal gun-purchase forms in 2018 about his drug use. Despite his defense team’s efforts to argue otherwise, the jury found him guilty.
This verdict marked Biden as the first child of a sitting president to be convicted of a crime.
While Biden could face up to 25 years in prison, it is likely that he will receive a lighter sentence as a first-time offender.
President Joe Biden has stated he will not pardon his son.
