The Denver Broncos have notified safety Caden Sterns of their intention to release him, as reported by NFL Network on Monday. Selected in the fifth round of the 2021 draft, Sterns missed most of the 2023 season after sustaining a patellar tendon injury in the season opener. During his time with the Broncos, Sterns recorded four interceptions, two sacks, and made 49 tackles in 21 games, five of which he started. The current safety lineup for Denver includes Brandon Jones, P.J. Locke, and 2023 sixth-round pick JL Skinner. –Field Level Media
