Cities from Arizona to Michigan can anticipate a new Democratic campaign sweeping through in the upcoming days.
Vice President Kamala Harris is set to visit seven swing states as part of her presidential campaign, with a total of 93 electoral college votes in play.
Her first stop will be an evening rally in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Former President Donald Trump is also on the move. Campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt mentioned that the Trump campaign will be countering Harris’ swing state tour.
Leavitt stated, “Both President Trump and Senator [JD] Vance have been traveling extensively for months. Our strategy remains consistent as President Trump continues to visit battleground states.”
Trump’s upcoming trip includes a visit to Montana on Friday, despite being projected to win that state comfortably. The significance lies in the state’s Senate race, where Democratic Sen. Jon Tester is seen as highly vulnerable.
While monitoring presidential travel provides insight into the race, analyzing campaign finances is also crucial.
The Harris campaign reported raising $310 million in July, compared to the $138 million raised by the Trump campaign during the same period.
Interestingly, the Harris campaign is investing in television ads in Nebraska, a typically conservative state that awards electoral college votes based on individual congressional district outcomes. This strategy was reinforced by the recent visit of second gentleman Douglas Emhoff to the state’s 2nd Congressional District.
On the other hand, the Trump campaign is increasing their ad spending, including the release of attack ads against Harris. With Trump’s legal proceedings largely halted, his allies are redirecting resources away from legal expenses.
An analysis by The Associated Press revealed that a Trump-aligned super PAC spent less than a million dollars on legal fees in June, marking a significant decrease compared to previous spending on the former president’s defense over the past two years.
