Authorities in Billings are currently investigating a “suspicious death” that occurred at the 4200 block of Carlton Avenue Southwest on Monday afternoon.
Law enforcement officials were called to a residence in south Billings near Ponderosa Elementary School to conduct a welfare check, where they discovered the deceased individual, as confirmed by Lt. Matt Lennick.
Lennick took to social media to report that certain aspects of the situation at the scene are raising suspicions, prompting the department’s investigations team to lead the inquiry.
The Billings police crime scene van is currently present at the location.
