It appears that many shows like to keep us waiting. HBO’s “House of the Dragon” just finished its second season with a cliffhanger, and it’s unlikely that the third season will return until 2026. The first season premiered in 2022, so it seems like we can expect the fourth and final season to arrive in 2028.
Co-host Terry Lipshetz shares his thoughts on the series after discussing the ongoing Olympics in Paris with Bruce Miller. He also expresses his frustration with shows taking long breaks between seasons. While AppleTV+ has a second season of “Silo” coming soon, there are significant delays for upcoming second seasons of “Shrinking” and “Severance.”
Bruce also discusses M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, “Trap,” and the director’s varying success from the hit “The Sixth Sense” to the less well-received “The Happening.”

We also give a preview of James Cameron’s latest project, “OceanXplorers,” which will debut on National Geographic on Aug. 18. The miniseries will consist of six episodes and is the latest venture for the Oscar-winning “Titanic” director. Bruce interviews Aldo Kane and Eric Stackpole, who discuss the series.
