During the third quarter of Friday’s preseason 16-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins suffered a right shoulder injury. Wiggins, the 30th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft from Clemson, was not immediately assessed for the severity of the injury. Ravens coach John Harbaugh stated, “I don’t really have any updates on anybody’s status right now. We’ll find out more (Saturday) when he gets tested.” Wiggins, who will turn 21 later this month, played well early in the game with three pass breakups against quarterback Kenny Pickett. Unfortunately, he got injured while tackling Philadelphia running back Lew Nichols. –Field Level Media
