BILLINGS — A trough of low pressure is moving across Montana and Wyoming today, bringing showers and thunderstorms to the region through the late night and early morning hours. Sunday will be slightly more stable, but isolated showers and thunderstorms are still possible.
Monday’s weather appears calmer with a mix of sunshine and clouds, along with some areas of haze and smoke. Southwesterly flow over the northern Rockies will lead to unsettled weather on Tuesday and especially Wednesday.
Following some cooling and activity on Wednesday, the rest of the week and the first half of the weekend will see less cloud cover and more stable conditions. Isolated showers and thunderstorms may occur, but many areas may not receive rainfall. Temperatures are expected to stay in the mid to upper 80s.
