Engstrom joins Billings Clinic Broadwater
Billings Clinic Broadwater welcomes home Montana native and family medicine physician Paul Engstrom, raised on a wheat farm outside of the tiny town of Reserve.
As a family medicine physician, Engstrom offers continuing and comprehensive care to patients. He aims to help patients navigate their care needs and health throughout the stages of their lives.
“Small town Montana has always been home and I’m incredibly excited to be back. The community has been so welcoming since our arrival and I’m looking forward to serving Broadwater County now and in the years to come,” Engstrom said in a news release.
Engstrom grew up in Sheridan County with just a single stoplight and, at the time, a graduating high school class of eight students. He attended Montana Tech in Butte after high school, where he played basketball for the Orediggers. Following graduation, he worked as a CNA in Missoula. Engstrom credits that job with providing him with more compassion and empathy than he could have obtained anywhere else. He spent the next four years in medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA, before completing his Family Medicine residency at St. Mary’s University in Grand Junction CO.
Engstrom’s special interests include emergency medicine and the full spectrum of family medicine. He enjoys skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, and working out.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Engstrom to Townsend and our team at Billings Clinic Broadwater.” Justin Tiffany, Billings Clinic Broadwater CEO, said. “With his exceptional skills and commitment to high-quality patient care, we are confident that Dr. Engstrom will make a significant positive impact on the health and well-being of the Townsend community.”
